"My home caught on fire in Jan. of 2022 and it was devastating. It happened on a Sunday afternoon. Before the fire department had finished I received a call from Thomas Ziegenbalg, my State Farm Agent, to let me know not to worry that he already had funds available for me for whatever I needed for housing, food etc. What a relief! State Farm assigned a claim agent specialist, Eric Miranda, who like their add says "like a good neighbor, Eric is there" He worked with me all of the way to make sure that all of my repairs were taken care of. Paying my auto insurance bill used to be a boring, mundane task that was more of a nuisance than anything. That was, until I signed up with Tom Ziegenbalg! Now, paying for auto insurance has become an adventure the likes of nothing I have ever experienced before! Every month I check the mailbox to see if today is the day I will receive the distinct, white and red envelope that I immediately rip open with shaking hands to see how high the price has shot up this month. "I requested a quote from TJ on a commerical piece of property. He quoted me a price and I gave a deposit. When the bill came in it was actually 3250. dollars higher. He told me it was a mistake and he would talk to an underwritter, he then told me he spoke with 3 and finally got the quote down to the original price. I started not to believe him and went back to my previous agent. I never received a corrected bill but I finally received another bill with the higher amount. I have never been treated this way before by an agent, he constantly lied to me and I have no idea what to get out of this. Totally untrustworthy."
